Vision
My scenic Painting skills range from traditional scenic painting to more none traditional use of tools and techniques. These techniques are used in such a way to have the human element of a production story/theme come through. Finger painting to very detail complex tools may be used. I am proficient with faux stone, glass, marble, wood graining and trompe l’oeil techniques using what ever tools may need to be necessary to achieve these techniques. My scenic painting is strongly influenced by my fine art work in painting and sculpture. My scenic painting can be investigative, creative and changing which is not a typical approach from a scenic artist. Using none traditional media and techniques can be so very important to achieving the feel, mood, textural world of a production story/concept.
